The Humanetics Lumbar Flexion Test Stand is used to check the flexion rate of the molded rubber lumbar spine assembly of the Hybrid II dummy. The crash dummy assembly is mounted using a dummy specific rear horizontal bracket aligned with the pelvic instrument cavity and two femur link rods. A magnetic-based angle indicator is provided to measure flexion angle while the measured forward force is applied to the upper torso.
